The Tidal Flood in Manado

For those of you who stay at home tonight — while keeping your cloths clean and dry, belly filled with your home-brewed dishes, no electricity outage, no flood or excessive volume of rain in your dwelling roundabout, blazing Internet connection and the TV cable still broadcasting Homebox movies — be grateful, you’re among the blessed by the Almighty.

My aunty who lives in Manado just recently lost just about every single dimes of her possessions — within a blink of her eyes — the flood just swept away everything while she’s asleep. Now’s she a refugee in a near by church and public schools, without even a decent accommodation made available to her disposal.

Alhamdullilah, but she’s and her family are still physically okay (So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? | فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ | QS 55:55).
