I’m missing those days when turning your smartphone to a rather dumb one — was practically the most brilliant thing you could have ever done in your whole entire life.

No emails, no instant messaging, no news-updates — yet you wouldn’t care about any. That disconnected felling with the rest of the world, by simply switching them off — and made only voice-calling available with the people back home.

“O you who believe! Do your duty to Allah & fear Him. And seek the Waseela (means of approach to Him), and strive hard in His Cause (as much as you can), so that you may be successful” | QS 5:35.

As I remember walking through the Mas’jidil Haram and laying my eyes on the Ka’bah — all I see was a black blurred construction. Tears were pouring down my face.

When I first saw the Kabah, I was speechless like I couldn’t breath. I was gasping for air because I was left dumbfounded by its majestic beauty.

So, signing off from your screen comrades. May Allah forgive our awful sins, G’nite, C’est La Vie! 🙂
