Hajj is known as the pilrimage back to Mecca for Muslims and demonstrates their devotion to God and submission to God. The Hajj makes Muslims feel significance on Earth and also their afterlife.

During the hajj the pilgrims perform acts of worship and renew their own purpose here on Earth. It occurs in the month of Dhul Hijjah which is the twelfth month of the Islamic calendar. It is encouraged that all Muslims peform this journey to Mecca.

The ritual of hajj is not any different from any other ritual of Islam. These rituals are acts of worship and must be dedicated to the name of God alone | QS 6:162.

The Quran stresses in a number of verses that the only purpose of hajj is to commemorate the name of God. As a result, every precious hour and day of the Hajj should be spent in commemorating the name of God Almighty alone:

“And proclaim to the people the Hajj [pilgrimage]; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every distant pass” | QS 22:27.

“That they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allah on known days over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. So eat of them and feed the misreable and poor.” | QS 22:28.

May His favors and blessings be upon you all. May The Almighty grant each and every du’a (supplications) that you’d longed for. May He nourish and cherish everything for you today.

Enjoy your weekend comrades! 😊
