Search for “most people” in The Book, and you’ll find that they:

“…do not believe.” [Surah Hud: 17].
“…do not show gratitude.” [al-Baqarah: 243].
“…do not know.” [al-A`raf: 187].

Search for “most of them” in The Book, and you’ll find that they are:

“…defiantly disobedient.” [al-A`raf: 102].
“…ignorant.” [al-An`am: 111].
“…pay no heed (to the truth).” [al-Anbiya’: 24].
“…do not reason.” [al-`Ankabut: 63].
“…do not listen (to the truth).” [al-Fussilat: 4].

وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكُمْ لَئِن شَكَرْتُمْ لَأَزِيدَنَّكُمْ ۖ وَلَئِن كَفَرْتُمْ إِنَّ عَذَابِي لَشَدِيدٌ

“And (remember) when your Lord proclaimed: ‘If you give thanks (by accepting Faith and worshipping none but Allah), I will give you more (of My Blessings); but if you are thankless, verily, My punishment is indeed severe’” | [Ibraaheem QS 14:7]

Let’s, therefore, make thanking Allah part of our morning and evening remembrances (adhkars) to get more of Allah’s blessings in our lives.
