Indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to the doers of good

Surat An-Naĥl (The Bee) –

And if you should count the favors of Allah , you could not enumerate them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. | QS 16:18

Surat Yūsuf (Prophet Joseph) –

He said, “Should I entrust you with him except [under coercion] as I entrusted you with his brother before? But Allah is the best guardian, and He is the most merciful of the merciful.” | QS 12:64

Surat Al-‘A`rāf (The Heights) –

And cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. And invoke Him in fear and aspiration. Indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to the doers of good. | QS 7:56

You see, gratitude is a sense of fulfillment that comes not from wanting more but rather from a sense of knowing that Allah has already blessed us with what we need. In one of the hadiths the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

“…if the son of Adam has one valley, he will wish that he had a second, and if he had two valleys, he would wish that he had a third. The stomach of the son of Adam will be filled only with dust (i.e., he is never satisfied)…” (Reported by Ahmad, 5/219; Saheeh al-Jaami’, 1781).

So, let’s use gratitude to learn to enjoy what we have rather than fretting over what we don’t.

That’s life, C’est La Vie!

😄😃😀😊😊☺️
